Happy Fourth!!!!

We had a great time this Independence Day. We had a red solo cup party and it was great. Thankfully Vivie like fireworks this year. We took her to watch the fireworks the city put on and she would yell out what color each one was (not always the actual color) and she kept saying, "Oh so exciting!!"

Swimming Lessons

Vivie started swimming lessons this summer. She did really great the first day, not so much the days after, but
all in all it was a good experience!

The Biggest Holiday of the Year (AKA Abbie's Birthday)!!

We love Abbie's birthday! Aunt Aggie taught Vivie early on to say "Happy Birthday Aggie!" and she does it with much enthusiasm. This year we did a tea party theme and I think it was so cute. I did some work, but my mom did a ton of work and she did a really good job!! We love you Aggs!

Cute things Vivie does

Everyday Vivie does something so cute and I think I should write it down.... So I am going to try and be better with that. I could never write down everything she says because she talks all the time, but I love it when she uses funny phrases like "are you kidding me?" and "are you serious?" She is so funny! She loves coloring so much it keeps her entertained for hours. She loves trying on my shoes and telling me how pretty she looks. She absolutely loves having her toes painted. She will go to the cupboard and pick out a color and bring it to me and tell me it's time to paint. I will admit she is quite judgemental when it comes to toes. If yours are not in top shape she will let you know.

Fun with Friends

Vivie and Evie have started to really enjoy playing together. They are the cutest! They got together this week and played in the bounce house and had a blast! Love them!

Mother's Day

This spring we had two really great trips to Vegas. We went first for Mother's Day. It was so fun! We took Vivie to town square and let her ride the train and she loved it. We also went for my mom's birthday weekend. We took Vivie to see the dolphins at the Mirage and she had the best time. I wanted to buy her a stuffed animal and she was very picky in her decision making. She doesn't want just anything, she thought long and hard about it. After much consideration she chose a shaggy blue dolphin (not Mom or Aggie's first choice)and we made the purchase. She carries it with her everywhere now, she even sleeps with it and this is the first toy like that for Viv. My favorite part of this dolphin is her name. While we were there Vivie particularly enjoyed watching the mommy dolphin swim with her new baby and she started calling her dolphin "Baby's Mommy.

Bubble Guppies

Vivie is officially to the age when she has an opinion about what t.v. show to watch. Her very favorite show is Bubble Guppies and she can watch it constanty. It has become a morning ritual for she and Mollie to do so. She sings along with it (since she has seen every episode several times she knows all the words) and dances. She also really likes to watch Minnie's Bowtoons and the Wonder Pets.

Easter 2012

As always Easter is super fun! The weather is getting warm and we always need an excuse to wear fancy dresses. This year Vivie actually comprehended the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny came to our house first and she was very excited. We walked over to my parents house because the Easter Bunny also went there and she couldn't wait to tell Gugs all about it, she started yelling it from across the street. It was so cute!
